Itinerary:
The tour will start with a visit to the seaside village of Giardini Naxos, the first Greek colony in Sicily founded in 734 BC.
After strolling along the promenade that borders the beautiful Naxos Bay, you will head towards Castelmola. Here, as you walk through the charming streets of the town, you will visit the ruins of the imposing Norman walls and Piazza Duomo with the Mother Church.

You will then reach Taormina for a self-guided tour of the historic center. Along the town’s main street, Corso Umberto, which is closed at the lower end by Porta Messina and at the upper end by Porta Catania, you will admire the most important landmarks: Palazzo Corvaja; Ancient Theatre*; Piazza IX Aprile; Clock Tower; The Cathedral Fortress (Duomo); Badia Vecchia; Palazzo Duchi di Santo Stefano, and much more. It will also be possible to shop in exclusive stores that alternate with characteristic artisan shops.

The final part of the tour will be dedicated to a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters surrounding the enchanting “Isola Bella,” a Nature Reserve considered the “pearl of the Ionian” for its wild beauty, connected to the mainland by a narrow strip of sand. From here, you can enjoy views of the bay, protected by the high cliffs of Capo S. Andrea, which houses the renowned Blue Grotto, and Capo Taormina.
